English Learners: Bilingual or Dual Language Book Collection Resource Ideas

Access to this list of recommended resources will support districts seeking dual language, bilingual, or multicultural books for classrooms. It is always best to purchase books that are written in the first language and not a translation. Additionally, it is very important for students to have mirrors and not just windows as texts. Look for texts that are authentic and reflect and honor the lives of all young people. Some of these resources are online materials and are free. This resource will address the needs of English learners.
