Knowing the letters and numbers associated with English Learners (ELs) Individual Learning Plans is more than just minding your P's and Q's. Participants learn how to write Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). ILPs encapsule many of the requirements for serving ELs. Participants will know: the purpose of Individual learning plans (ILPs); the critical elements of the ILPs; how ILPs integrate ACCESS test score data and other student data to establish clear student language-based learning goal; how to use classroom-based assessment practices to personalize student learning.Participants will be able to create ILPs; to identify language and learning goals within lessons and applicable scaffolding strategies that align with ILP descriptors and are based on students? specific needs. This session will address the needs of English learners. It will also address implementing evidence-based activities to meet the comprehensive needs of students.
