English Learners: Dual Language Program Planning (Virtual/F2F)
Participants will learn critical aspects of planning for and leading a one-way or two-way dual language program. Participants will apply the concepts learned as they analyze and explain effective features of curriculum, instruction, assessment accountability, staff quality & PD, and family & community engagement. This session will address the needs of English learners. It will also address administering and using high-quality assessments that are valid and reliable, to accurately assess students' linguistic and academic progress and assist educators in meeting students' academic needs, as well as implementing evidence-based activities to meet the comprehensive needs of students.
