CESA 7 supported educators in all subject areas and grade bands during the physical closure of schools in Spring 2020 due to COVID 19. These content area PLCs and networks allowed area educators and CESA 7 staff to provide updates, share resources and collaborate. In an effort to continue to support educators, CESA 7 will continue to offer monthly Professional Learning Communities and networks for educators. This is a great opportunity to work through the PLC guiding questions: What do we expect our students to learn? (Goals/Expectations), How will we know they are learning? ( Assessment), How will we respond when they don't learn?- (Intervention), How will we respond if they already know it? (enrichment). The 2020-21 school year will likely be fluid in delivery and CESA 7 PLCs and networks will continue to support educators throughout the year, especially in districts with stand-alone department members, with these one time per month communities of practice.
